Earthquaker Dream Crusher
This is a bare bones (especially if you look at the pedal art) no-nonsense fuzz pedal. We could not put it any better than Earthquaker did on their website: “There are two simple controls: Fuzz and Level. Fuzz Controls how sweet you want to sound and Level controls how much you want other people to hear how sweet you sound.” The Dream Crusher is no longer in production so pick a used one up while you can!
External Control: None
Cost: $$
HornFX Review
Interface: 4.5/5
Two simple knobs. Can’t go wrong there.
Versatility: 2/5
Keeping in mind that this is a fuzz pedal, it can produce a nice range of aggressive tones.
Tonal Reproduction: 4/5
The pedal is on the brighter side. This doesn’t manifest harshly, rather it gives nice clarity and integrity to the sound, while retaining your tone quite well.
Live application: 4/5
This is a wonderful live fuzz pedal. The pedal’s tonal clarity is a huge positive as is its simplicity.

Power
Our pedals take a standard 9 volt DC power supply with a 2.1mm negative center barrel. We always recommend pedal-specific, transformer-isolated wall-wart power supplies or multiple isolated-output supplies. Pedals will make extra noise if there is ripple or unclean power. Switching-type power supplies, daisy chains and non-pedal specific power supplies do not filter dirty power as well and let through unwanted noise. Do not run at higher voltages!
Current draw is 25 mA.
