Electro-Harmonix POG2
This pedal is legendary. The POG2 is regarded by many to be the greatest octave pedal of all time, and that may just be right. With an immense amount manipulability and a huge octave range, there is very little this pedal cannot achieve with tone and articulation when playing with multiple octave voices. Whether you want to sound like a bunch of instruments, a different instrument, or make some really crazy sounds, this is the right pedal!

HornFX Review
Interface: 4/5
This is one of the few pedals out there that is mostly knob free and slider heavy. That is a wonderful feature considering most of the controls are related to the volume of different voices. This pedal expertly takes an immense amount of controls and makes them easy to use, understand, and manipulate on the fly.
Versatility: 3/5
The POG2 can only add octaves, and manipulate the way those octaves sound. However, you are able to combine the many octave settings and the few sonic options to create some otherworldly sounds, as well as some wonderfully useful conventional sounds.
Tonal reproduction: 4.5/5
When playing multiple octaves at once, this pedal performs fantastically. Its tonal integrity is of the highest quality. This is also one of the absolute best pedals for mimicking a bari or soprano sax when playing tenor, and a trombone or lead trumpet when playing brass. Truly a widely useful pedal
Tracking speed: 4/5
The tracking speed is terrific.
Live application: 4/5
With its many presets, and the ability to convincingly replicate other instruments of the same family, this pedal is a must have for your board. Its other controls like attack, detune, and filters enhance its usefulness even more.

Product Information
Blair, Trumpet - "Ive been using the EHX POG2 for four years, in all situations. This pedal's ability to provide one and two octaves above and below the source is AMAZING. It tracks very precisely and instantly with the trumpet, including all natural inflections in pitch and phrasing. At first I thought (as many trumpet players would) that having access to one and two octaves above would be amazing, but I find myself using one octave below the most. Combined with fuzz, overdrive, and wah, the octave below adds amazing depth and real intensity to the effects. The individual octave control, attack control, and the presets make this pedal an amazing addition to my arsenal of sounds. This is a very versatile pedal. The different combinations of octaves and mix control over each octave allow me to easily use this pedal by itself or with a host of other effects. I couldn't live without it."

Back in 2005, Electro-Harmonix unveiled the original POG, a polyphonic octave generator that enabled guitarists to conjure everything from the surreal jangle of an 18-string guitar, to rich, thick walls of symphonic sound.
The POG2 will take you even higher. Use the new attack control to fade in lush, smooth swells. Tune in the new second sub-octave to reach deeper than ever before. The 2-pole resonant low-pass filter now includes two additional Q modes. Slide in the newly enhanced detune to further refine your sound.
The POG2 delivers unrivaled tonal variations—and now you can save your favorite settings, and recall them with a click. The POG2 just plain sounds better, thanks to an enhanced algorithm that delivers a more focused and in-the-pocket harmonic performance. And all this is now packed into our rugged and pedalboard-friendly diecast chassis.
