Morley Mini Wah/Volume
Morley have come up with quite a little gem with this pedal. Not only do you get the functionality of a wonderful sounding wah pedal, but you get a volume pedal for your troubles as well. The small size of this pedal only enhanced its desirability. As usual, Morley’s sonic integrity and effect quality are wonderful in this little stompbox. It is recommended that when you switch this pedal from “volume” to “wah” mode that you flip the foot pedal down so the volume is off. You will have a far smaller chance of feedback this way when you switch modes. This pedal is now out of production in favor of the new Morley Power Wah/Volume, so take a look at that great new issue as well!

HornFX Review
Interface: 4/5
Another pedal from Morley that is incredibly simple, with only one switch and one light. When light is illuminated you are in “wah” mode; one click of the button turns off the light and you are in “volume” mode.
Versatility: 2.5/5
It is actually quite nice to have a pedal like this that can perform both these important functions extremely well. The dual functionality will serve the user well.
Clarity of effect: 4/5
The Morley Mini-Wah/Volume is different than other wah pedals in that it provides a much broader sweep in terms of its effect. In the pedal’s low positions you can achieve a very bass-heavy sound and in its high position a very high endy, almost overdriven sound. This pedal may be more advantageous for saxophone players for this reason. If you’re looking for that broad, wide sweep, this is an amazing pedal.
Live application: 4.5/5
With its small size and excellent performance in both functional settings, this pedal can add a rather large amount of function and fun to your board. While it does sound and function incredibly well, the one downside may be its sweep. This pedal has a rather large sweep when in the wah setting and will require much more subtle use than other wah’s. The more extreme ends of the heel and toe positions can get a bit out of hand.
