The sliders are nicely spaced and the LED’s on each one make manipulating on the fly incredibly easy especially on a dark stage. The addition of both gain and volume controls are a big positive and can help with the overall control of your board quite well.
Versatility: 3/5
Although it only really does EQ, the volume and gain sliders make its functionality expand more than you would initially expect.
Noise: 4/5
From the older model with the black casing to the newer, silver model shown above, so much of the noise issues from the connection ports have been eliminated. However, this pedal may still have some noise issues if you put any of the sliders aside from volume and gain above 0. If you make 0 the high point of your equalization, then you will have no noise issues.
Live application: 5/5
This pedal’s well applied LED’s in the sliders along with its large range of sonic manipulability range make this an incredibly desirable pedal for live use. The wide spacing of the sliders makes manipulating your sound on the fly incredibly easy and not at all cumbersome.
Complexity: Simple
For sax players: This is an excellent pedal for removing some key rumble from your signal. If you want to hear less clicking and bouncing, this pedal can help with that.
