Source Audio generated an immense amount of buzz when they announced this pedal. Its release has proven this is truly one of the best pedal’s available on the market. There may be no more complete delay pedal out there. Not only does it have every sonic option under the sun, but it sounds fantastic, is incredibly easy to use, has a small footprint, and will not break the bank! It is easy to see why the Nemesis is one of HornFX’s Favorite pedals.

This pedal has a very simple and well laid out face, but the manipulability of this pedal only starts there. It has the capability to connect with the Source Audio Hub and Hub Manager, the Neuro App, and can be connected to your smart phone’s headphone jack to make your phone a remote controller. This pedal can be controlled to any degree of specificity in virtually any way you want.

This pedal’s features are vast on the surface, but they more than double when you explore deeply with the computer or cell phone control. You can manipulate tone, style of repeats, effected repeats, and much much more. This pedal has so much that it can be daunting to fully explore.
Tonal Reproduction: 4.5/5
If you desire a clean, pristine reproduction of your tone, that is quite simple with this pedal. However, there are almost unlimited tones that can come out of this monster. This pedal can not only preserve your tone well, but can manipulate it in a vast number of fun and practical ways.

The Nemesis has so many sounds that it could be used in any musical situation. There are easily accessed presets on the front and an easy-to-read subdivisions switch next to the tap tempo. If those four presets are not enough, you can save and access hundreds more with your phone, the app, the hub, or with midi control. This a is truly easy to use and wonderful live pedal.

24 Delay Engines — Nemesis features 12 onboard delay engines accessible via the center selector wheel, plus an additional 12 delays downloadable via the Neuro Mobile App.
128 Presets — Save up to eight presets accessible via the onboard controls or save up to 128 presets recallable with MIDI program change (PC) messages.
Stereo Input and Output Jacks — Create dramatic stereo ping-pong delays, stereo phase inversion, or set up an external effects loops, pre or post delay.
Tap Tempo — Tap in the delay time with the onboard tap tempo switch. Beat divisions include quarter notes, dotted eighth, and triplets.
Hold (a.k.a. “Freeze”) Control — Use the tap tempo switch to freeze a small portion of the delay in a continuous loop.
