Boss CH-1 Super Chorus
Boss CH-1 Super Chorus
The Boss CH-1 is the standard for chorus among many guitar players. This simple yet effective pedal is a nice and cheap way to add a little bit of shimmer to your sound. Do not expect any breathtaking or multi dimensional effects. This is more of a simple, no frills stompbox.

Interface: 2.5/5
About as standard as it gets. There are no surprises or hidden features. The EQ knob might have a little less effect on the sound than one would expect.
Versatility: 3/5
There is not much beyond the standard chorus on this pedal. You can have more or less aggressive chorus, but overall, this pedal does the basics well.
Tonal Reproduction: 3/5
Although it might have a bit darker sound than one would expect, this pedal’s representation of your sound is on the good side of average.
Live application: 3/5
A standard for guitar players, this is a solid but not fantastic chorus pedal for a horn player.
