Caroline Wave Cannon
Caroline Wave Cannon
Caroline makes some really cool pedals. Sadly with this one, there is so much of the pedal’s functionality that is meant to interact with a guitar’s electronics, that most of this pedal is lost on horn players. That being said, this can still give your sound a fuzzy, distorted punch in the gut!

Interface: 2/5
Although the pedal is simply laid out, the pictorial representations can be confusing if you do not read the manual. They also have diminished capabilities when doing through a microphone, as the pedal was designed specifically to interact with a guitar’s knobs.
Versatility: 1/5
Since the capabilities of this pedal are greatly diminished through a microphone, its tones are vastly limited. There may only be a setting or two that works well.
Tonal Reproduction: 2/5
The nature of this pedal is to drastically alter sound. Although its sounds are cool, they are not the most true to the tone of your horn.
Live application: 2/5
If you can find a setting that sounds great on this pedal and plan on using it only for that, this will work well. If you are looking to have a drive pedal that you can tweak or fine tune on the fly, this will provide some serious disappointment.
