Interface: 3.5/5
While this pedal is certainly simple and straightforward, there are a couple of little touches that enhance its utility. The switches for the various modulation settings and waveforms make selecting the more strange sounds incredibly easy. Although the expression pedal jack will not accept an external tap, you can control the speed of the delay with the sweep of an expression pedal.
Versatility: 2/5
As with most analog delay pedals, there are not many choices when it comes to changing your delay sounds. Luckily this gives a little more versatility with its waveform and chorus/vibrato settings.
Tonal Reproduction: 3.5/5
The analog circuitry does darken up your sound some, but the representation you get with this pedal is fairly accurate and pretty. You can go way off the rails with the various mod options if you wish.
Live application: 3/5
A lot of the crazier settings on this pedal (with the depth control set high) are only useful in a live setting if you are looking for very unique and wonky delay sounds. The wave forms allow you to make sounds that you can’t find on very many other delay pedals.
