There are many guitar pedals that work well with their intended instrument, but seems to fall far short when applied to horns. This might be one of those situations. Sadly, there is nothing stellar about this pedal. It is quite suspect in all aspects of performance. You would do well to avoid this stompbox.

This tiny pedal packs a lot of options in very well. The mixing controls of low octave, high octave, and dry signal make it easy to fine tune your sound. Although the the large knob with the various modes is laid out well, it has a few issues. The knob clicks into place at each setting, but the clicking is soft and can fool you into imprecision. The text indicating the modes is rather small and can be hard to read.

As far as octave pedals go, this can do a lot. It has a 5 octave span, and the presets cover any possible combination of those octaves.
Tonal reproduction: 1/5
This pedal sounds bad. The tones it produces are fluttery, choppy, and are not true to the input signal.
Tracking speed: 2/5
This has slightly below average tracking speed.
Live application: 1/5
Although the pedal has lots of desirable mixing and octave options, it just does not sound good. The only reason to use this pedal live would be to use it for its specific sonic qualities and not as a pure octave pedal.
