MXR Phase 95
MXR Phase 95
In an effort to combine its two wonderful phase pedals, the Phase 45 and the Phase 90, MXR gives us the Phase 95. Its compact design makes this a great option for anyone looking for a phaser for their setup. The script button gives you additional choice of sounds by changing to one of two styles of phase within each separate phaser circuits. This lovely little pedal gives you some nice phase versatility without sacrificing too much money or space.

Interface: 4/5
The Phase 95 has one knob and two buttons. Its simplicity is a nice compliment to its beautiful sound. This is quite an elegant way to fit four different phase sounds into one tiny pedal.
Versatility: 3/5
With four phase sounds, this pedal gives the user much more choice than the size of the pedal would indicate. There are few analog pedals out there that will give you this much choice with this tony footprint.
Clarity of Effect: 4/5
Speaks beautifully. All four phase sounds have their own integrity and individual color. Your tone will be nicely represented even through its most intense phase sound.
Live application: 5/5
All of the settings sound great live. There are no bad sounds on this pedal. Use it. Love it.
Two circuits in one: The Phase 45 and the Phase 90
Script switch takes the edge off the phasing for a creamier tone
