Way Huge Aqua Puss
Way Huge Aqua Puss
Way Huge, another subsidiary of Jim Dunlop, is known for their edgy and silly pedal names and classic effects. This addition to their line is an attempt to recall the days of old without having the unreliability of old hardware. While this classic effect may have guitar players drooling with nostalgic hunger, its utility might be slim for a horn player.

Interface: 2.5/5
This is the simplest of delay pedals. When it comes to analog delay, the controls as bare bones as it gets. However you are left wanting more with this pedal. There is a lot missing on the tone front, and some more manipulability would be nice.
Versatility: 1/5
The Aqua-Puss is not a pedal that will win awards for broad ranging effects. This pedal does only analog delay, and it may not be the best at that either.
Tonal Reproduction: 1.5/5
Sadly not the best. This pedal has a decidedly tinny, low-fi sound.
Live application: 2.5/5
Although the pedal does not sound wonderful, it has an undeniable strength in its ease of use. If you do not care about its less than stellar delay capacity (300ms or a quarter note at 200BPM), and less than stellar tone, this pedal will give you an easy and fun looking delay machine that works well and has a personality all its own.
- True Bypass
