Interface: 4/5
This is about as simple as delay gets. Along with the three essential controls, there is a button for modulation. That’s all you get for modulation control, on and off. The simplicity of this pedal is actually quite pleasant and makes for an interface that that is a pleasure to use.
Versatility: 1.5/5
Although this is a fantastic delay pedal, it does one thing. It has a lovely analog sound, but even the modulation is one flavor only. This is a major negative for some, yet some would rather nothing else. Happily, the one thing this pedal does, is accomplished quite well.
Tonal Reproduction: 3.5/5
The sound of this pedal is textbook analog. There is that dark warmth to the reproduced tone that many look for in their delays. Your sound will not be sparkly or pristine, but it will sound good.
Live application: 3.5/5
If you yearn for simplistic, classic, warm sounding delay in your effects setup, this may be your perfect pedal. But for some it will fall far short of other stompboxes who can produce a wide range of delays with a simple tap of the preset button.
